The Saab Spirit Lives On

The Simeone Automotive Museum in Philadelphia, PA is presenting a special exhibit, “The Saab Spirit Lives On” through March 17th 2013. The exhibit features 20 classic Saabs from the collection of Bill Jacobson, owner of Sports Car Service of Wilmington, Delaware, and other Saab enthusiasts.

Saab Automobile Parts North America Launches Saab Secure Program for recent Saab Owners

Today, Saab Automobile Parts North America (SPNA) announced its Saab Secure program. The program was developed to support those 2010 and 2011 model year Saab owners left without warranty coverage due to the bankruptcy of Saab Automobile AB in Sweden.

Saab Automobile Parts North America and General Motors Company enter Warranty Services Agreement

Saab Automobile Parts North America (SPNA), the exclusive provider of Saab Genuine Parts and Accessories to the U.S. and Canadian markets, and General Motors Company (GM) have entered into a Warranty Services Agreement that authorizes SPNA to provide warranty administration and related services through Saab’s network of Warranty Service Providers for model year 2009 and prior Saab vehicles still covered under the GM limited warranty. The agreement permits Saab owners the opportunity to have their vehicles repaired by Saab factory trained technicians using Saab Genuine Parts by a nationwide network of Warranty Service Providers.

Debt Office takes ownership of Saab Parts

The National Debt Office has decided to take ownership of Saab Automobile Parts AB. The company has since the bankruptcy of Saab Automobile AB, been owned by the bankruptcy estate. The takeover is done by assumption of a pledge of all the shares in the company and will take a few weeks.

Saab Club of North America – Owners Convention

The 2012 Saab Owners Convention took place in the Heart of America at the Marriott Convention Center in Coralville/Iowa City, August 2-5. Sponsored by the Saab Club of North America and hosted by Iowa City Saab and Meyer Garage. Cars and enthusiasts from across the US and Canada attended this annual event.
